November is Adoption Awareness Month in order to raise awareness about adoption of foster children. Although this years theme is emphasizing adopting teens from foster care, thousands of children of all ages will be adopted on National Adoption Day, which will be held on November 17th. Last year over 3,300 adoptions were finalized on one day.
Having many friends who have adopted children over the years, I have seen the incredible blessing that it is firsthand. Ben and I have talked about adopting on many occasions, so who knows what the future holds...
